Walter Hagen

The name behind Dick’s Sporting Goods’ internal golf brand is a one of legacy. Walter Hagen won over 11 titles in his career with a sophistication of style and talent. That ambition continues on today through tailored apparel made for the male golfer.

THE GOAL To give the Walter Hagen brand a minor hangtag update, by simplifying icons and reestablishing the apparel collections. This included a refresh of color, technology icons and an additional secondary mark for brand hits.

THE OUTCOME The updates above were accomplished for the team, but I personally took it a step further. Inspired by golf resorts and lively patterns, the customized logo combines simple forms and distinctive flair for the modern man.
